Lynn Lovell has been teaching double bass and bass guitar at NCMC for more than 20 years.  She is Principal Bassist with the Pioneer Valley Symphony and Holyoke Civic Orchestra and performs regularly throughout the area.  Lynn is the founder of the Western New England Double Bass Society and maintains a private studio, through which she rents and advises on the sale of basses of all sizes.  Lynn received her B.A. from Westfield State College.


Adam Bosse teaches guitar, electric bass, ukulele, composition, and recording studio classes at NCMC. He also leads the weekly blues jam, open improvisation class and ukulele choir. He received his B.A. in music performance from University of Maine, Augusta, and his Master’s in jazz composition and arranging from UMass Amherst. Adam is well-versed in a wide variety of musical genres, and believes that there is no one definitive approach to teaching the guitar. He designs his lesson plans according to the goals and interests of each individual student. Adam has performed on and produced many recordings for artists around the Pioneer Valley. Adam previously taught on the faculty of Greenfield Community College, and now performs regularly with the free jazz group Twenty-Three Ensemble and the local rock group The Carbuncles.
