Angela Shyr

Angela (Angie) Shyr studied at Eastman School of Music, New York University, and The Castleman Quartet Program, and received her Bachelor's degree from Goddard College. Angie has enjoyed many musical personas from playing in orchestras and managing and leading her own quartet, to writing indie pop/rock music and touring with Led Zeppelin, the O'Jays, the Dramatics, the Temptations, and Gorillaz. She recently recorded for Jane Goodall's Hopecast series and The Prison Within documentary. Her current tapestry and joy expands to programming music and poetry for senior populations and recording/releasing an upcoming Sax/Violin duo album by XO Planet.
